Astronomy 210 is a three-credit course. You therefore have a six-month contract period in which to complete it. Students who work through the course in a regular and organized fashion are likely to be successful in their studies. We therefore strongly encourage you to set up a study plan for yourself, in consultation with your tutor. A rhythm of one unit per month will allow you to complete the course with time for review. If any unforeseen circumstance prevents you from completing the course within the six-month contract period, you may apply for an extension to your course contract. Consult the current Athabasca University Calendar for further information.
Note: Students who are receiving financial assistance, or those in a grouped-study version of this course, should check their course registration for special limits on the length of registration, and adjust their schedules if necessary.
