Parchment frames, graduation rings, clothing, gifts and other AU merchandise can all be found at the AU store.

Graduation Portraits

A Portrait Photographer will be available daily from Thursday, June 6 through Saturday, June 8, 2013 at the Athabasca Regional Multiplex to take individual and family studio portraits. Graduation gowns with hoods will be available for individual portraits. 2013 Photographer to be announced, please check back in March.

Graduation Hoods

AU uses a traditional graduation hood in place of a graduation cap.

In medieval times, the hood was one part of a garment worn by scholars to cover their shoulders or head to protect them from inclement weather. Today, the hood is worn down the back and is kept in place by a neckband that is placed over a graduate's head to rest on the shoulders. You can view the hoods in the Convocation photo albums. 

Graduation hoods cost $100 including GST and will be available for purchase in the merchandise area after the Convocation ceremony. If you are unable to attend Convocation you may order one for purchase or borrow one to have portraits taken.

Commemorative DVD

Replay the events and relive the magic of your special day by ordering a commemorative DVD of your convocation ceremony. DVDs of each day's Convocation proceedings will be available for only $15 plus shipping and GST, and will be mailed to you by August 31, 2012. Order your copy today.
