In general, courses are considered for transfer credit regardless of when they were completed, with the following exceptions:

Athabasca University will not award transfer credit for nursing courses, administrative studies courses, information systems courses, or science courses taken more than ten years ago.
Athabasca University will not grant transfer credit for computer science courses or programs, taken more than five years ago.
