Questions? Ask AU
Get real-time answers to common questions about AU, including fees, admissions, courses, programs, transcripts, and exams.
Ask in the form of a question, such as “When do your courses start?”
Am I allowed to begin my course before my start date?
Individualized study courses start on the first day of every month year round. You will be given your course contract start date after your course registration has been received and processed.
You can begin to work with your course materials as soon as you receive them; however, you cannot submit assignments, contact your tutor, or write any exams before your official course contract start date.
More information on course contract dates can be found in Section 6.2.4 of the Undergraduate Calendar.
