Learning and Research
The Learning and Research Portfolio consists of pedagogical projects that support AU’s ongoing efforts to improve its courses and course development processes. In addition, this portfolio encompasses a broad range of multidisciplinary projects sponsored by various faculties, learning communities and partnerships and geared toward the creation of new knowledge through innovative research.
Active Projects:
AU’s Centralized Learning Management System (Moodle)
Following a comprehensive process of research, analysis and open dialogue within the university community, Moodle was selected as AU’s sole LMS. Moodle will be deployed across the university over the next two years.
Administration
The Administration Portfolio consists of projects that aim to improve AU’s internal management of administrative information, systems, services, processes, products or resources.
Computing
The Computing Portfolio consists of information technology projects directed to enhancing and solidifying AU’s technological infrastructure and thereby ensuring the provision of high quality services and products to its internal and external constituencies.
