The Office of the Vice-President Information Technology and Chief Information Officer provides strategic leadership in the application of information technology (IT) to Athabasca University activities.
The office is charged with identifying and securing the technologies needed
- to improve administrative effectiveness and efficiency
- to assist the academic community in using IT to develop effective academic programs
- to facilitate research and development of world-class e-learning initiatives
