DBA Program Information

Admission to the AU DBA program occurs once per year.  Application materials are due in the January prior to a fall start.

For completion of the DBA, students must complete seven online courses (21 credits), an on-site orientation course, and two on site research workshops. Following coursework, a dissertation research proposal must be approved during an oral candidacy exam, after which work on the dissertation may commence. The final dissertation must be approved by a supervisory committee during an Oral Defense by the student.

A minimum grade of B- (2.7) is required for all courses.

Students will normally complete the DBA program in four years. Students must complete their studies within seven years.
