Alumni Awards
Nothing tells the story of Athabasca University better than the success of our students and alumni - people who are making their mark on the job and in their communities.
Do you know an AU alum who's making a difference? Nominate a friend, colleague or family member for one of the Athabasca University Alumni Awards. These awards celebrate the achievements and contributions of our graduates (and soon-to-be graduates) in four categories:
- Distinguished Alumni Award for an alum who is bringing honour to the university through outstanding contributions to his or her field or community and/or exemplary service to AU
- Rising Star Award for an alum who has demonstrated leadership and made significant contributions to an area of expertise early in his or her career
- Future Alumni Award for a current student who has demonstrated leadership, service and potential and/or exemplary service to AU and fellow students (students with a minimum of 15 course credits are eligible for the Future Alumni Award)
- Volunteer Service Award for an alum who is making a difference to the well-being of others at home or abroad through dedication to volunteer service
